There were wide avenues, commercial roads and courtyards laid out on ample plots of land; there were splendid parks, and also gardens stocked with trees and creepers from the heavenly planets....

Purport: Those Viṣṇu forms blessed the devotees with Their clear glances and smiles, which resembled the increasingly full light of the moon (śreyaḥ-kairava-candrikā-vitaraṇam)....

Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 10 - Chapter 1 - Verse 50 Sanskrit: तं तालुमूलं प्रदहन्तमग्निवद्गोपालसूनुं पितरं जगद्गुरो: ।चच्छर्द सद्योऽतिरुषाक्षतं बक-स्तुण्डेन हन्तुं पुनरभ्यपद्यत ॥ ५० ॥ ITRANS: taṁ tālu-mūlaṁ pradahantam agnivadgopāla-sūnuṁ pitaraṁ jagad-guroḥcaccharda sadyo ’tiruṣākṣataṁ bakastuṇḍena hantuṁ punar abhyapadyata Translation: Kṛṣṇa, who was the father of Lord Brahmā but who was acting as the son of a cowherd man, became like fire, burning the root of the demon’s throat, and the demon Bakāsura immediately disgorged Him....
