Purport: The feelings of enmity between the Kurus and the Pāṇḍavas were so strong that Mitravindā’s brothers, out of friendship for Duryodhana, forbade the young maiden to accept Kṛṣṇa as her husband....

If out of foolishness an ordinary person does imitate such behavior, he will simply destroy himself, just as a person who is not Rudra would destroy himself if he tried to drink an ocean of poison....
