Purport: In the modern age there is widespread propaganda ridiculing the path of spiritual realization, and thus even saintly devotees are disturbed to see the progress of human society being obstructed....

Thus they weary in their attempt to bring the mind under control. Purport: Without the shelter of the Supreme Lord, a yogī easily becomes discouraged in the difficult task of fixing his mind on the Supreme....

Purport: In relation to this verse, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī explains that the Personality of Godhead never gives up His spiritual body, which is eternal, full of bliss and knowledge....

One can strengthen the mode of goodness by cultivation of those things that are already situated in goodness, and thus religious principles arise....
