Nescience is due to the bodily conception, and Jaḍa Bharata was not affected by this false conception....

Translation: Being an incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Ṛṣabhadeva was fully independent because His form was spiritual, eternal and full of transcendental bliss....
