Rig Veda Book 10 Hymn 188 पर नूनं जातवेदसमश्वं हिनोत वाजिनम | इदं नोबर्हिरासदे || अस्य पर जातवेदसो विप्रवीरस्य मीळुषः | महीमियर्मिसुष्टुतिम || या रुचो जातवेदसो देवत्रा हव्यवाहनीः | ताभिर्नोयज्ञमिन्वतु ||
pra nūnaṃ jātavedasamaśvaṃ hinota vājinam | idaṃ nobarhirāsade || asya pra jātavedaso vipravīrasya mīḷuṣaḥ | mahīmiyarmisuṣṭutim || yā ruco jātavedaso devatrā havyavāhanīḥ | tābhirnoyajñaminvatu ||
Translation:
Rig Veda
- Now send ye Jātavedas forth, send hitherward the vigorous Steed To seat him on our sacred grass.
- I raise the lofty eulogy of Jātavedas, raining boons, With sages for his hero band. 3 With flames of Jātavedas which carry oblation to the Gods, May he promote our sacrifice.
