Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 9 - Chapter 1 - Verse 1
Sanskrit:
श्रीशुक उवाचमित्रायुश्च दिवोदासाच्च्यवनस्तत्सुतो नृप ।सुदास: सहदेवोऽथ सोमको जन्तुजन्मकृत् ॥ १ ॥
ITRANS:
śrī-śuka uvācamitrāyuś ca divodāsāccyavanas tat-suto nṛpasudāsaḥ sahadevo ’thasomako jantu-janmakṛt
Translation:
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: O King, the son of Divodāsa was Mitrāyu, and from Mitrāyu came four sons, named Cyavana, Sudāsa, Sahadeva and Somaka. Somaka was the father of Jantu.
