Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 8 - Chapter 1 - Verse 47
Sanskrit:
एवं त्वहरह: कुर्याद्द्वादशाहं पयोव्रतम् ।हरेराराधनं होममर्हणं द्विजतर्पणम् ॥ ४७ ॥
ITRANS:
evaṁ tv ahar ahaḥ kuryāddvādaśāhaṁ payo-vratamharer ārādhanaṁ homamarhaṇaṁ dvija-tarpaṇam
Translation:
In this way, until twelve days have passed, one should observe this payo-vrata, worshiping the Lord every day, executing the routine duties, performing sacrifices and feeding the brāhmaṇas.
