Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 8 - Chapter 1 - Verse 43

ब्रह्मणा प्रेषितो देवान्देवर्षिर्नारदो नृप ।वारयामास विबुधान्दृष्ट्वा दानवसङ्क्षयम् ॥ ४३ ॥
ITRANS:
brahmaṇā preṣito devāndevarṣir nārado nṛpavārayām āsa vibudhāndṛṣṭvā dānava-saṅkṣayam
Translation:
O King, when Lord Brahmā saw the imminent total annihilation of the demons, he sent a message with Nārada, who went before the demigods to make them stop fighting.
