Sanskrit:
तासां स चतुर: शिष्यानुपाहूय महामति: ।एकैकां संहितां ब्रह्मन्नेकैकस्मै ददौ विभु: ॥ ५१ ॥
ITRANS:
tāsāṁ sa caturaḥ śiṣyānupāhūya mahā-matiḥekaikāṁ saṁhitāṁ brahmannekaikasmai dadau vibhuḥ
Translation:
The most powerful and intelligent Vyāsadeva called four of his disciples, O brāhmaṇa, and entrusted to each of them one of these four saṁhitās.
