Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 11 - Chapter 1 - Verse 25
Sanskrit:
व्यर्थयार्थेहया वित्तं प्रमत्तस्य वयो बलम् ।कुशला येन सिध्यन्ति जरठ: किं नु साधये ॥ २५ ॥
ITRANS:
vyarthayārthehayā vittaṁpramattasya vayo balamkuśalā yena sidhyantijaraṭhaḥ kiṁ nu sādhaye
Translation:
Discriminating persons are able to utilize their money, youth and strength to achieve perfection. But I have feverishly squandered these in the useless endeavor for further wealth. Now that I am an old man, what can I achieve?
