Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 11 - Chapter 1 - Verse 46 Sanskrit: धिष्ण्येष्वित्येषु मद्रूपं शङ्खचक्रगदाम्बुजै: ।युक्तं चतुर्भुजं शान्तं ध्यायन्नर्चेत्समाहित: ॥ ४६ ॥ ITRANS: dhiṣṇyeṣv ity eṣu mad-rūpaṁśaṅkha-cakra-gadāmbujaiḥyuktaṁ catur-bhujaṁ śāntaṁdhyāyann arcet samāhitaḥ Translation: Thus, in the previously mentioned places of worship and according to the processes I have described, one should meditate on My peaceful, transcendental form with four arms holding a conchshell, Sudarśana disc, club and lotus flower. In this way, one should worship Me with fixed attention....

Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 11 - Chapter 1 - Verse 47 Sanskrit: इष्टापूर्तेन मामेवं यो यजेत समाहित: ।लभते मयि सद्भ‍‍क्तिं मत्स्मृति: साधुसेवया ॥ ४७ ॥ ITRANS: iṣṭā-pūrtena mām evaṁyo yajeta samāhitaḥlabhate mayi sad-bhaktiṁmat-smṛtiḥ sādhu-sevayā Translation: One who has executed sacrificial performances and pious works for My satisfaction, and who thus worships Me with fixed attention, obtains unflinching devotional service unto Me. By the excellent quality of his service such a worshiper obtains realized knowledge of Me....

Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 11 - Chapter 1 - Verse 48 Sanskrit: प्रायेण भक्तियोगेन सत्सङ्गेन विनोद्धव ।नोपायो विद्यते सम्यक् प्रायणं हि सतामहम् ॥ ४८ ॥ ITRANS: prāyeṇa bhakti-yogenasat-saṅgena vinoddhavanopāyo vidyate samyakprāyaṇaṁ hi satām aham Translation: My dear Uddhava, I am personally the ultimate shelter and way of life for saintly liberated persons, and thus if one does not engage in My loving devotional service, which is made possible by associating with My devotees, then for all practical purposes, one possesses no effective means for escaping from material existence....
