Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 10 - Chapter 1 - Verse 35


Sanskrit:

तस्मिन् प्रविष्टावुपलभ्य दैत्यराड्विश्वात्मदैवं सुतरां तथात्मन: ।तद्दर्शनाह्लादपरिप्लुताशय:सद्य: समुत्थाय ननाम सान्वय: ॥ ३५ ॥

ITRANS:

tasmin praviṣṭāv upalabhya daitya-rāḍviśvātma-daivaṁ sutarāṁ tathātmanaḥtad-darśanāhlāda-pariplutāśayaḥsadyaḥ samutthāya nanāma sānvayaḥ

Translation:

When the King of the Daityas, Bali Mahārāja, noticed the arrival of the two Lords, his heart overflowed with joy, since he knew Them to be the Supreme Soul and worshipable Deity of the entire universe, and especially of himself. He immediately stood up and then bowed down to offer respects, along with his entire entourage.
