Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 10 - Chapter 1 - Verse 34
Sanskrit:
तेऽन्वसज्जन्त राजन्या निषेद्धुं पथि केचन ।संयत्ता उद्धृतेष्वासा ग्रामसिंहा यथा हरिम् ॥ ३४ ॥
ITRANS:
te ’nvasajjanta rājanyāniṣeddhuṁ pathi kecanasaṁyattā uddhṛteṣv-āsāgrāma-siṁhā yathā harim
Translation:
The kings pursued the Lord like village dogs chasing a lion. Some kings, raising their bows, stationed themselves on the road to stop Him as He passed by.
