Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 10 - Chapter 1 - Verse 52
Sanskrit:
स्वराजधानीं समलङ्कृतां ध्वजै:सतोरणैरुक्षितमार्गचत्वराम् ।विवेश शङ्खानकदुन्दुभिस्वनै-रभ्युद्यत: पौरसुहृद्द्विजातिभि: ॥ ५२ ॥
ITRANS:
sva-rājadhānīṁ samalaṅkṛtāṁ dhvajaiḥsa-toraṇair ukṣita-mārga-catvarāmviveśa śaṅkhānaka-dundubhi-svanairabhyudyataḥ paura-suhṛd-dvijātibhiḥ
Translation:
The Lord then entered His capital. The city was lavishly decorated with flags and victory arches, and its avenues and crossways were all sprinkled with water. As conchshells, ānakas and dundubhi drums resounded, the Lord’s relatives, the brāhmaṇas and the general populace all came forward to greet Him respectfully.
