Srimad-Bhagavatam: Canto 10 - Chapter 1 - Verse 55
Sanskrit:
न त्वादृशीं प्रणयिनीं गृहिणीं गृहेषुपश्यामि मानिनि यया स्वविवाहकाले ।प्राप्तान् नृपान्न विगणय्य रहोहरो मेप्रस्थापितो द्विज उपश्रुतसत्कथस्य ॥ ५५ ॥
ITRANS:
na tvādṛśīm praṇayinīṁ gṛhiṇīṁ gṛheṣupaśyāmi mānini yayā sva-vivāha-kāleprāptān nṛpān na vigaṇayya raho-haro meprasthāpito dvija upaśruta-sat-kathasya
Translation:
In all My palaces I can find no other wife as loving as you, O most respectful one. When you were to be married, you disregarded all the kings who had assembled to seek your hand, and simply because you had heard authentic accounts concerning Me, you sent a brāhmaṇa to Me with your confidential message.
