आविध्य शूलं तरसा गरुत्मतेनिरस्य वक्त्रैर्व्यनदत्स पञ्चभि: ।स रोदसी सर्वदिशोऽम्बरं महा-नापूरयन्नण्डकटाहमावृणोत् ॥ ८ ॥
ITRANS:
āvidhya śūlaṁ tarasā garutmatenirasya vaktrair vyanadat sa pañcabhiḥsa rodasī sarva-diśo ’mbaraṁ mahānāpūrayann aṇḍa-kaṭāham āvṛṇot
Translation:
Mura whirled his trident and then hurled it fiercely at Garuḍa, roaring from all five mouths. The sound filled the earth and sky, all directions and the limits of outer space, until it reverberated against the very shell of the universe.
