पेतु: शिरांसि रथिनामश्विनां गजिनां भुवि ।सकुण्डलकिरीटानि सोष्णीषाणि च कोटिश: ॥ ७ ॥
ITRANS:
petuḥ śirāṁsi rathināmaśvināṁ gajināṁ bhuvisa-kuṇḍala-kirīṭānisoṣṇīṣāṇi ca koṭiśaḥ
Translation:
The heads of soldiers fighting on chariots, horses and elephants fell to the ground by the millions; some heads wore earrings and helmets, others turbans.
