Thus the earth was like a person whose body has been emaciated by austerities undergone for a material purpose, but who again becomes fully nourished when he achieves the fruit of those austerities....

As these two sons enter the forest, surrounded by Their friends, driving the cows before Them, They hold Their flutes to Their mouths and glance lovingly upon the residents of Vṛndāvana....

Then, crawling on His hands, He dragged the mortar between a pair of arjuna trees and pulled them down. Purport: The two arjuna trees were old and thick, and they towered above little Kṛṣṇa’s courtyard....

The force of the Lord’s entrance into the lake caused it to overflow on all sides, and poisonous, fearsome waves flooded the surrounding lands up to a distance of one hundred bow-lengths....

Then the boys opened their baskets of food and began eating with Kṛṣṇa in great transcendental pleasure....
